Independence Bank provides a group medical insurance plan which is available to full time employees after sixty days of continuous employment. This is a premium policy covering a broad range of medical services.
After sixty days of continuous employment, Independence Bank provides a group dental insurance plan which is available to full time employees who are also enrolled in the medical insurance.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Pre-tax savings accounts for unreimbursed medical expenses and dependent care.

In fact, one of our biggest success stories is Kay Mayer. Kay started in 1978, only a few years after the Bank was founded. Beginning her career as the Executive Secretary/Loan Assistant and progressing through the positions of Assistant Cashier and Assistant Vice President, she currently serves as our Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Human Resources. Kay is also a member of our Board of Directors and the Corporate Secretary of both the Bank and our Holding Company, MSI. An amazing resource for our employees, she is always keeping an eye on our future, while having the greatest understanding of how far we have come in over 43 years. Kay has witnessed our growth first-hand from a single community bank to one that serves 11 counties with six branches in Northeastern Montana.
Not only does Kay have more than 35 years of experience at the Bank, but she's also one of the company's biggest fans, helping to match applicants and current employees with the job that's best for them. And if Kay has anything to say about it... the remarkable growth and success of Independence Bank will only continue as we add the next generation of community bankers to our team!
