Health Savings Accounts
A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a type of personal checking account that helps those with high-deductible health plans save money for out-of-pocket medical expenses like vision and dental care, office visits and prescriptions. Employers and employees can make pre-tax contributions to these accounts.

- Account holders can access funds with checks and/or a debit card
- Unused balances carry over from one year to the next
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
An IRA is an account that allows employers and employees to contribute a limited annual sum toward your retirement. Independence Bank offers three different IRAs to meet your needs:
