Volunteering

More than 50% of our employees are actively serving on boards, clubs, and other community organizations to support youth, seniors, education, health, and other needs. We expect and encourage our staff to give back to their communities and support causes closest to their hearts.

Over 50 Years of Love

In 2024, IB employees put in over 3500 hours of volunteer time in their local communities. Each year during the month of February, we like to help celebrate the month of LOVE by doing our part in giving back. Our employees take time volunteering in their local communities! In February of 2025, our employees volunteered more than 318 hours (over 43% of all our employees), in their local communities. Their time goes to athletic events, food pantries, senior citizens, children, education, foster parents and children, dance and arts organizations, and more!

Donations

Every year, Independence Bank donates thousands of dollars in support of our communities. Whether large or small, we strive to make each donation impactful to our friends and neighbors and the future of our communities.

Historically, the majority of IB donations supports Youth Organizations and Education. In 2024, that trend continues with almost 51% our donations going to youth clubs, organizations, events, and schools in our branch communities.
