VolunteeringMore than 50% of our employees are actively serving on boards, clubs, and other community organizations to support youth, seniors, education, health, and other needs. We expect and encourage our staff to give back to their communities and support causes closest to their hearts.
50 Years of LoveIn February 2023, our staff volunteered more than 360 hours in our branch communities as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration. Their time went to local athletic events, food pantries, senior citizens, children, education, foster parents and children, dance and arts organizations, and more! Here are just some of the organizations our employees worked with in February, and continue to partner with throughout the year: Conrad Branch: Meadow Lark Elementary School, Community & Senior Citizens Center, Pondera Food Pantry, Pondera History Museum, Special Olympics, Tri-County Cardinals
DonationsEvery year, Independence Bank donates thousands of dollars in support of our communities. Whether large or small, we strive to make each donation impactful to our friends and neighbors and the future of our communities. Historically, the majority of IB donations supports Youth Organizations and Education. In 2023, that trend continues with almost 70% our donations going to youth clubs, organizations, events, and schools in our branch communities.
